Springhouse Primitives
18th and 19th Century Reproductions

The Shop is situated in our late Victorian farm house built in 1906. The house features a wrap around porch, original fireplace, oak trim, and floors. The house sits on original Zoar property along with a very interesting, working two story springhouse. The the original occupants got their daily water source from it until the 1950's. One side of the springhouse was used for meat smoking. We also have a small red barn, originally a corn crib. Today its home to alpacas Foster and Granger and Boer Goats Ella and Cookie. We offer simple goods made in the 18th and 19th century manner. Pottery (Red and Yellow ware), tinware, shaker boxes, paper band boxes, and Erinn's Laine Candles made in Canton. Hand made items are our specialty, primitive dolls, penny rugs, hooked rugs, and cross stitches. Our springhouse features gardening tools and a variety of flower pots.
